Anti-War demonstrations Gaza '09 (Working Link)

On January 19th a small group of demonstrators paid a visit to a small and unimpressive area near the international airport of Toulouse. You might not know to look at it that it might be the turning point of the lives of not only the 126 detainees that are currently imprisoned there, but also of thousands of people that might pass through it in the future. photografree.net documented the feeling of helplessness that overcomes anybody in the sight of the Terminus Cornebarrieu.

Of 21.000 hectares of genetically manipulated corn in France, more than 15.000 are found in the region Midi-Pyrénées, which has thus become the most contaminated in France by GMO corn. The neighbouring farmers have no guarantee to be informed if the adjacent fields are cultivated with this type of corn and thus fear the contamination of their products. The Confédération Paysanne called for a demonstration in front if the administration in Toulouse the 24 july. It demands the publication of GMO-parcels as intended by the reglementation.
